Sunbelt is hiring for a remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired near the Kasson, Minnesota area. We are looking for a candidate that is actively licensed in the state of Minnesota. The applicant would be working through the next school year and would be responsible for helping students in grades K-12. Please learn more below:


Teacher for the Visually Impaired Job Details:

  • Full-time caseloads, 35 hours per week
  • Contracted position that would work through the next school year
  • Work for school district near Kasson, Minnesota area
  • 100% Remote work

Teacher for the Visually Impaired Job Overview:

  • Coordinates the child’s educational goals with other providers, therapists and teachers
  • The Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) provides optimal vision services to students on his/her caseload, fulfilling each student’s particular mandate
  • Keep up to date with students' IEP and stay on top of progress reports
  • Works with students in academic sessions as well as classroom activities to provide appropriate adaptations for the students’ visual needs

Teacher for the Visually Impaired Job Requirements:

  • Must have an active TVI license in Minnesota
  • Any previous use with virtual teaching
  • At least one year of relevant job experience would be preferred
