ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and qualified PreK-12 Teacher for the Visually Impaired to join our team in Elk Grove, California. Our mission is to empower students with visual impairments to achieve their full potential academically and socially.

Job requirements 
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education of the Visually Impaired or a related field.
  • Valid California Teaching Credential or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Fingerprint Screening 
  • Experience working with students who are visually impaired or blind.
  • Proficiency in Braille and adaptive technology.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job Details
  • Developing and implementing individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students with visual impairments.
  • Adapting and creating instructional materials to meet the unique needs of visually impaired students.
  • Teaching braille, orientation and mobility skills, and assistive technology.
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive educational experience.
  • Start Date: ASAP
