Are you a dedicated and passionate Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) looking for a rewarding opportunity? Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to visually impaired students in a school setting.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet students' unique needs.
- Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Utilize innovative teaching strategies, adaptive materials, and assistive technologies to enhance learning experiences.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor students' progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or related field.
- Valid state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI).
- Previous experience working with visually impaired students is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles.
