NOW HIRING: Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) near Pittsfield, Massachusetts -FULL TIME
A school district in the Pittsfield, Massachusetts area is actively looking to hire a Teacher of the Visually Impaired for a full time position. We are seeking an individual that can start immediately.
As a contract employee, you will be paid a competitive hourly rate and have guaranteed hours each week. More details about this opening are below.
JOB DETAILS:
- Full Time: Monday - Friday
- Start date: 2022-2023 School Year
- Caseload: Can range from K-12th Grade Students (will be determined upon interview)
REQUIREMENTS:
- MA DESE Certification Teacher of the Visually Impaired (All Levels)
- Familiar with mobility training, Braille creation and teaching; ability to modify classroom procedures and environment to meet the specific needs of the visually impaired student for participation in classroom and community activities
