paVisually Impaired Teacher (TVI) job opening Summer job district near Levittown,
I am now working with a school district near Levittown, PA to hire a part-time Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI), for a Summer job opening. It is a possibility the district will need the candidate to work in the Fall as well.
This job is part of an individualized instructional program for eligible students with disabilities. There are about 25 hours per week required for this part-time job. You will be working onsite with one school. If Coivd-19 protocol should change, then it will switch to virtual temporarily.
The applicants will be placed based off of experience and interviews. There are opportunities for the 3-5 age group and secondary education (Middle School, High School and Transitional) this age group ranges up to 21 years of age.
All students in the caseload are blind, or visually impaired and some of the students have hearing impairments.
Job Requirements: Active Certification in Teaching for the Visually Impaired. ASL credentials are preference, but not required.
