Sunbelt is diligently searching for candidates with previous experience to fill a role as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI). Due to our school district's need, we are considering both part time and full time candidates for this job. It is an itinerant position, so you must be able to commute in and around the Salem, Massachusetts area. 

Day to day activities of the job include: 
 

• Work closely with other specialists to provide the best care and education for students 
• Teach students to use adaptive equipment including writing implements, software, electronic devices, etc. 
• Keep up to date with students' IEP and stay on top of progress reports

Qualifications required for this job near Salem, Massachussets:
 

• Candidate MUST have all licenses up to date for the state of Massachussets and is up to date on all current legislation and regulations 
• Has reliable transportation to travel in the Salem, Massachussets area as this is a floating position 
• SEI endorsement 
• Previous experience as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) - we may consider a new grad if it is the right fit
