Teacher for the Visually Impaired | Springfield, GA

ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate Teacher for the Visually Impaired this upcoming school year for a onsite position in the area of Springfield, GA. 

Start & end date: ASAP-May 24, 2023

Hours:  Part time 20 hours/week (may be offered ESY)

Position Type:  Full Time, Contract

City and State: Winchester, Virginia

Job Description: Will be providing services to entire small K-12 district

Required or Non-negotiables

1. Eligibility for a Georgia teaching certificate in Special Education Visual Impairment (P-12) Consultative.
2. Knowledge of instructional strategies and methods for teaching  visually impaired students.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with teachers, administrators and other stakeholders.
4. Willingness to travel between schools.  Valid driver’s license.
