Teacher of the Visually Impaired - Englewood, CO

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of visually impaired students? ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Full-Time Teacher of the Visually Impaired for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year in Englewood, CO.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction to students with visual impairments, including braille instruction, adaptive technology, and other specialized techniques.
  • Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for visually impaired students.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and progress.
  • Adapt and modify curriculum materials to meet the unique learning needs of visually impaired students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes independence and skill development.


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education for the Visually Impaired or a related field.
  • Valid state teaching certification for Visual Impairments.
  • Proficiency in braille and knowledge of adaptive technology.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Previous experience working with visually impaired students is preferred.
