Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments, ensuring access to the curriculum.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.
- Assess students' needs and progress, adjusting instructional strategies accordingly.
- Utilize assistive technologies and adaptive materials to enhance learning experiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education with a focus on Visual Impairments.
- Valid certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired.
- Experience working with students with visual impairments in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Knowledge of assistive technologies and adaptive teaching methods.
