Bilingual Therapies is seeking dedicated Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVIs) for the 2026–2027 school year. We have openings across all grade levels, and final placement will be determined based on your experience, certification, and setting preference. This is an onsite‑only role, and travelers are encouraged to apply.
Job Details:
School Year: 2026–2027
Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
Location: Gallup, New Mexico
Placement: Assigned based on candidate preference and experience during the interview process
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative vision services to students with visual impairments
Support access to curriculum through specialized instruction and accommodations
Conduct functional vision assessments and contribute to IEP development
Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families
Ensure appropriate use of assistive technology and low‑vision tools
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional standards
Qualifications:
Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
Experience working with students with visual impairments preferred
Ability to work onsite for the full contract term
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills
