As an itinerant teacher for the visually impaired (TVI) with OMS certification, you’ll interact with various school campuses, collaborate with talented educators, and gain firsthand exposure to diverse school-based practices and leadership. Qualifications Sought:
- Professional Florida TVI license (required)
- OMS Certification (required)
- School-based experience preferred, but not mandatory
- On-site availability and willingness to travel between schools
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve a caseload of 15–20 K-12 students
- Provide both direct and indirect/consultative services
- Cover 2–3 schools per day out of a total of 13 (itinerant assignment)
- Collaborate with team to craft a flexible weekly schedule
- Participate in streamlined, district-led onboarding and credentialing
- Maintain accurate documentation and timesheets
