Responsibilities
- Provide virtual instruction and support to students with visual impairments.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans and goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and services.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district requirements.
Qualifications
- Active Georgia Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification/licensure required.
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
- Knowledge of special education procedures and IEP processes.
- Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills.
- Ability to effectively deliver services through a virtual platform.
