What You'll Bring:
- Valid state certification or credential as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired

- Skill in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and responsiveness to student needs in various educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and academic support to students with visual impairments
- Assess students’ needs and monitor progress, adjusting approaches as required
- Develop and maintain IEPs in consultation with IEP teams
- Coach and support classroom teachers in adapting materials and instructional methods
- Teach students essential skills such as orientation, mobility, Braille, and use of specialized technology
- Communicate regularly with families regarding goals, achievements, and strategies for growth
- Participate in school meetings and professional development as needed
