Qualifications & Experience:
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Familiarity or proficiency as an Assistive Technology Specialist and with data entry processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy in recordkeeping.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets).
- Excellent interpersonal and phone communication abilities.
- Experience coordinating and scheduling meetings with parents or guardians.
- Ability to handle confidential student information with the utmost professionalism.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain, update, and organize special education student records ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality.
- Utilize school-approved technology and software to manage and report data.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings between staff and parents/guardians efficiently.
- Communicate with families and staff via phone and electronic correspondence.
- Support the special education team with clerical and assistive technology needs.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative environment through clear, courteous interactions.
