Qualifications:
- Experience or coursework as an Assistive Technology Specialist, or similar role
- Comfortable with data entry, with attention to accuracy and confidentiality
- Preferred: Previous work in a school environment, especially within special education
- Effective interpersonal communication; can professionally interact with parents, students, and colleagues
- Confidence on the phone and skilled at facilitating meetings with parents
- Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel spreadsheets, and Google Suite tools
Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and maintain student records, ensuring all documents remain up to date and secure
- Schedule, confirm, and organize meetings between school staff and parents
- Communicate promptly with families regarding important information or documentation requests
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and administrative staff to support ongoing student needs
- Manage incoming calls and requests, redirecting or handling inquiries as appropriate
- Assist with other clerical duties related to special education records as needed
