Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) | Claxton, Georgia
Make a meaningful impact as an in-person Teacher for the Visually Impaired, working directly with an elementary student who will benefit from your specialized expertise. In this role, you’ll deliver engaging and accessible lessons, fostering development and independence for your student. Qualifications & Experience:
- TVI credential in Georgia (required)
- Proven experience working with visually impaired students, particularly at the elementary level
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to develop and adapt educational materials for accessibility
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized instruction to one elementary student with visual impairments
- Assess and address student learning needs, adapting curriculum as necessary
- Work closely with educational staff and family to monitor and report progress
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district policies
