Key Qualifications:
- Certified or eligible for Washington State TVI licensure (required)
- Experience working as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (preferred)
- Ability to work full-time for the 2026–2027 school year
- Open to both in-person and virtual service delivery
- Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments in an itinerant model
- Assess student needs, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
- Adapt curriculum materials and recommend assistive technology as needed
- Travel between schools or provide remote support, as assigned
