Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct instruction in Braille, orientation and mobility, and use of adaptive tools
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to ensure student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise regarding accommodations and modifications
- Advocate for and monitor proper accommodations during assessments and daily classroom activities
- Maintain timely documentation and progress reports
