Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification required
- Solid background providing both direct instruction and consultative support to visually impaired students
- Experience working according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Effective communicator, especially with students, families, and staff across settings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instructional services per individual student IEPs
- Provide consultative support to fellow educators and families as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and communications related to IEP implementation
- Attend IEP meetings and team conferences as requested
- Support students at multiple locations, adapting to their unique needs and learning environments
