What you’ll bring:
- Active TVI certification required
- Experience working with students who are visually impaired
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs for visually impaired learners
- Ability to provide both direct and consultative services
- Organizational skills for documenting service delivery and IEP-related activities
- Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and attend meetings as needed
- Adaptability to support a varied caseload (elementary-focused, with potential for higher grades)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering tailored instruction to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Consulting and collaborating with staff and family members to support each student’s needs
- Participating in meetings, providing expert input on students’ educational planning and progress
- Completing all documentation tied to service delivery and communication relevant to IEP activities
- Coordinating travel between multiple schools as required
