Key Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina teaching certificate with a VI (Visual Impairment) Endorsement

- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel to multiple school locations as an itinerant educator
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support to students with visual impairments, both individually and in groups
- Assess student needs and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultative support and training to classroom teachers and staff
- Promote the use of assistive technology and adaptive materials
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district guidelines
