You’ll play a crucial role in supporting a caseload of approximately 8-10 students—mostly elementary-aged, with potential for occasional middle or high school students. The caseload may fluctuate over time, based on evolving needs. Service delivery will span multiple educational locations within the district.
Key Qualifications:
- Must possess and maintain an active TVI certification.
- Experience with direct and consultative TVI services in a school setting preferred.
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs for visually impaired students.
- Comfortable serving multiple campuses and adapting to student needs as they arise.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in team meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and consultative services per each student’s IEP.
- Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as needed.
- Manage necessary documentation for service delivery and maintain ongoing communication related to IEP goals.
