Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Teacher of the Visually Impaired (EDU) Certification with Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience supporting visually impaired students preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and case management skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support to students ages early childhood through 12th grade (caseload of 12–18 students)
- Travel to multiple districts within Lake County
- Develop and implement individualized education plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Track progress, complete documentation, and communicate with families and staff
