Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging instruction tailored to students with visual impairments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Teach Braille reading and writing, as well as orientation and mobility skills
- Modify curriculum materials and create accessible resources using assistive technology
- Act as a resource to staff and parents, providing training and support on best practices for visually impaired students
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
