Caseload & Responsibilities
- Provide services to approximately 8–10 students
- Caseload consists primarily of elementary students, with the possibility of supporting a middle or high school student
- Deliver direct and consultative services in accordance with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Attend IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings as requested
- Complete required documentation for service delivery and maintain accurate records
- Provide indirect services, including communication with school staff and families regarding IEP implementation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support student success
- Travel between assigned school locations as needed
Qualifications
- Active Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Certification required
- Must meet all Ohio state and district requirements for school-based employment
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required
