Qualifications:

Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction to elementary students with visual impairments
- Assess student needs, write IEP goals, and develop customized learning strategies
- Adapt general education curriculum and teaching materials for accessibility
- Instruct students in Braille reading and writing as needed
- Consult with general education staff, support personnel, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Regularly monitor, document, and report students’ progress toward educational objectives
- Support student use of assistive technology and mobility skills
