Soliant is partnering with a long-standing school district in the Greater Austin area seeking a qualified Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a great opportunity for a TVI looking for a rewarding role where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of students while working with a supportive school team.
Position Details
* Full-time or part-time opportunities available
* 2026-2027 School Year
* August 2026 - May 2027
* School-based position
* Greater Austin, TX area
* Multiple opportunities may be available based on district needs
* Caseload and placement will be determined based on student needs, certifications, and experience
* Work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and school staff to support students with visual impairments
Qualifications
* Valid Texas teaching certificate
* Texas Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) Supplemental Certificate, EC-12
* Appropriate base Texas teaching certificate held in conjunction with the TVI supplemental certification
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
* Previous experience working with students who are visually impaired is preferred, but not required
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
Compensation
Estimated $42-$47 per hour, depending on degree level, certifications, experience, and assignment details. Please reach out to discuss compensation further.
