Sunbelt Staffing is actively hiring Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVIs) for school-based opportunities across the United States. As a TVI, you'll play a vital role in helping students with visual impairments access education, build independence, and achieve academic success.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and consultative vision services to K-12 students.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals.
- Conduct assessments and evaluate student progress.
- Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families.
- Support academic, social, and independent living skill development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district requirements.
Qualifications
- Active TVI certification/licensure. You can work anywhere in the country, as long as you are licensed in the state you reside in, as well as the state you woul be working in.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field.
- School-based experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
