Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support services to visually impaired students using telehealth platforms.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on visual impairments.

- Monitor and assess student development, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Provide training and resources to assistive technology use relevant to visual impairments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student outcomes.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid South Carolina Teaching certificate with a Visual Impairment (VI) Endorsement.
- Experience working as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired, preferably in itinerant or telehealth settings.
- Familiarity with assistive technology and remote teaching platforms.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule of approximately 35 hours per week.
Location: The position is based in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, with services provided primarily through telehealth.
