Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification required
- Experience in both direct instructional roles and consultative service models
- Familiarity with developing, implementing, and tracking IEP goals for visually impaired students
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Comfortable attending and contributing to IEP meetings
- Flexibility to travel between sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students based on their IEPs
- Attend and actively participate in student IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of all services provided
- Provide indirect supports, such as service delivery documentation and proactive communication regarding IEP activities
- Foster inclusive environments that support students’ unique learning needs across multiple grade levels
