1:1 Pediatric Long-Term Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) | Yukon, Oklahoma

Key Qualifications:
- Valid state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or higher in relevant field
- Experience in 1:1 settings with pediatric students preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt instruction to each student’s needs
- Flexibility to work on-site in a school environment and collaborate effectively with staff and families

Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored, one-on-one instruction and interventions for a student with visual impairments, focusing on both academic and orientation/mobility needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with school staff and families
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure student success
- Provide ongoing support, resources, and training to classroom teachers and aides
- Work collaboratively with school teams to promote accessibility and inclusion
- Maintain open and positive communication with families regarding student growth and needs
