- Familiarity with Braille, assistive technology, and orientation & mobility strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with visual impairments
- Provide direct instruction and support tailored to each student’s unique needs, including Braille, assistive technology, and daily living skills
- Consult with classroom teachers and staff to ensure accessibility and accommodations
- Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with families and educational teams
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and other collaborative processes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the school and district policies
