Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification with a specialization in Visual Impairments (TVI)
• Proven experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong understanding of Braille, assistive technology, and adaptive instructional materials
• Ability to collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to ensure inclusive education
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to students with visual impairments, ensuring they receive appropriate accommodations
• Design and adapt curriculum materials, incorporating Braille, large print, and tactile graphics when needed
• Assess students’ needs and progress, regularly updating educational plans and goals
