Desired Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree and active Louisiana DOE certification for visually impaired education (required)
- Minimum 3 years of teaching—elementary, secondary, and/or special education
- Demonstrated competence in Braille instruction and assistive technology
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Proven organizational skills and ability to work independently across itinerant assignments
- Capability to train both students and staff in supporting visual impairment accommodations
- Orientation and mobility training experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities
