- Ability to assess student needs and create comprehensive Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with families, general education staff, and support teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to students with visual impairments in a variety of school settings
- Adapt and design curriculum materials in accessible formats such as Braille, large print, or audio
- Consult with classroom teachers to ensure accommodations are implemented effectively
