Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Texas certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Certified Texas teacher credentials
- Prior experience supporting K-12 students with visual impairments (preferred)

- Strong collaborative skills for working with students, families, and school staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction to visually impaired students across K-12 grade levels in alignment with each student’s IEP
- Adapt curriculum and classroom materials to meet the unique needs of each learner
- Provide consultative support to general education teachers and staff regarding best practices for inclusion
- Contribute to IEP meetings and help assess student progress
- Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and team members
