Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Texas Teacher Certification for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students with visual impairments

- Proficient in utilizing various adaptive technologies and tactile learning tools
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with visual impairments, adapting curriculum as needed
- Assess student needs and progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure accessible learning environments
- Guide students in the use of assistive technology and mobility techniques
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and school team discussions
