As an on-site TVI serving a diverse district, you’ll work closely with students, educators, and families to ensure access to a high-quality education and tailored resources. The assignment begins ASAP and runs through July 3, 2026—providing you with a rewarding, long-term role supporting learners across multiple campuses.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active TVI educator license, required
- Experience working in school settings with visually impaired students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload and travel districtwide
- Comfortable developing and implementing individualized instructional strategies
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and adaptive materials for students with visual impairments across the district
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Assess student needs and progress, adjusting interventions accordingly
- Support accessible technology integration and orientation/mobility needs as appropriate
- Travel between school sites as part of the district’s itinerant TVI team
- Maintain accurate records and required documentation
This contract role involves 32.5 hours per week on-site, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and create positive impact throughout the school year.
