Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction in core curriculum and compensatory skills to students with varying levels of visual impairment
- Develop, produce, and adapt educational materials using braille as needed
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to support accessible learning environments and individualized education plans
- Conduct ongoing student assessments and participate in consultative meetings to update progress and recommend strategies
- Deliver orientation and mobility instruction to encourage independence both within and outside the school environment
