1:1 Pediatric 1:1 Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) | Meriden, Kansas

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) is required
- Must hold a valid state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Experience working 1:1 with pediatric students is strongly preferred
- Adaptable and collaborative, with strong communication abilities
- Committed to providing personalized, student-centered educational support
- Willingness to work on-site and fulfill a long-term role
Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and interventions to support the unique needs of a visually impaired student
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to create and implement educational plans
- Adapt curriculum, learning materials, and assessments for accessibility
- Utilize assistive technologies and develop customized learning strategies
- Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and report on student achievements and challenges
- Offer guidance to school staff in best practices for visually impaired student inclusion
