1:1 Pediatric Long-Term TVI - Topeka, KS

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) required
- State licensure as a Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Previous experience supporting students in a school setting, preferably with 1:1 pediatric caseloads
- Commitment to fostering independence and academic achievement for students with visual impairments
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement adapted lesson plans and instructional strategies for students with visual impairments
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student needs
- Deliver direct, individualized instruction and support students with orientation and mobility skills
- Maintain accurate progress reports and participate in IEP meetings
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusion within the school environment
