Spend twelve rewarding weeks (from late October through mid-February) in the heart of Illinois, including communities such as Bloomington, Normal, El Paso, Downs, Pontiac, LeRoy, and Colfax. On your downtime, explore the area’s picturesque parks, historic towns, and local eateries—a perfect balance of work and adventure.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- State certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Previous experience in itinerant or travel teaching settings preferred
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with school staff and families
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule across several locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to visually impaired students in multiple schools
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to adapt curriculum and ensure accessibility
- Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Travel daily between assigned schools, maintaining effective records and communication
