Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Experience adapting and modifying curriculum for visually impaired students

- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student-centered education
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized instruction tailored to students with visual impairments
- Assess student needs and implement IEP goals
- Modify classroom materials and provide training on the use of adaptive tools and technology
- Advocate for students’ accessibility and inclusion within the school community
- Consult with classroom teachers, aides, and families to maximize student success
- Document student progress and maintain required records
