What You’ll Do:
- Assess students’ vision-related educational requirements and create individualized learning plans accordingly
- Provide direct and consultative instruction tailored for visually impaired students
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to facilitate accommodations and modifications
- Offer guidance on the use of assistive technology devices in academic settings
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and student progress reviews
- Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and reporting purposes
- Support families with understanding resources, learning tools, and advocacy for their children
