Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individualized instructional strategies tailored to the student's visual needs
- Conducting 90 minutes of telehealth sessions monthly, applying specialized teaching techniques
- Utilizing augmentative communication tools and assistive technologies as appropriate
- Collaborating with educational teams to monitor progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Maintaining accurate records of services provided and student development
Qualifications and experience required:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired
- Proven experience in telehealth educational delivery or willingness to adapt to remote teaching methods
- Knowledge of visual impairment-related educational strategies and assistive technologies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to provide services in compliance with educational guidelines and student-specific accommodations
