Virtual Teacher of Visually Impaired in CT

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Visually Impaired Teacher specializing in telehealth services, based in Hartford, CT. This role focuses on delivering specialized educational support and consultation to visually impaired students through virtual platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive assessments and tailored instructional strategies for visually impaired students via telehealth.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) specific to visual impairments.
• Utilize technology efficiently to conduct remote sessions, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed to meet evolving educational goals.
• Maintain detailed records of services provided and communicate regularly with stakeholders to support student success.

Desired Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI).
