- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with visual impairments
- Provide direct instruction in areas such as braille, orientation and mobility, or adaptive technology as needed
- Consult with general education teachers and staff to ensure accessibility of classroom materials and activities
- Advocate for students’ needs and facilitate training for staff, families, and peers in support strategies
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
