What you'll bring:
- Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired or applicable state licensure
- Previous experience or strong knowledge in providing instruction to students with visual impairments in school settings
- Familiarity with accommodations and modifications under IEP/504 plans
- Skills collaborating with general education and special education teachers to foster student success
- Comfort with technology for both on-campus and remote instruction
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Key responsibilities:
- Instruct students with visual impairments, delivering individualized and group lessons tailored to unique learning needs
- Develop and implement instructional adaptations, materials, and accessible resources
