Assistive Technology Specialist Therapist (AT) - Mount Vernon, WA

Qualifications:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing
- Certification or proven experience in the field of Assistive Technology (AT)
- Demonstrated background as a Legal Nurse Consultant
- Strong knowledge of educational accommodations and compliance requirements (IDEA, Section 504, ADA)
- Effective communicator and collaborator with multidisciplinary teams
- Proven ability to assess, recommend, and implement assistive technology for diverse student needs
- Experience with technical devices, adaptive aids, and related software
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and recommend appropriate assistive technology solutions
- Coordinate and facilitate AT evaluations and device trials
- Collaborate with staff, students, and families to support successful technology integration
- Ensure legal compliance in medical record review and student healthcare accommodations
- Develop and deliver training on equipment and best practices
- Advise on documentation and participate in relevant meetings or case discussions
- Monitor device functionality and coordinate necessary maintenance or support
- Maintain accurate case notes and reports
