Assistive Technology Specialist Therapist (AT) - Oak Harbor, Washington

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Current RN license with experience in educational or pediatric settings
- Demonstrated expertise in assistive technology: device selection, training, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with legal frameworks surrounding accommodations and disability services
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and advocate for student needs
- Experience conducting assessments and developing student-centered technology solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and recommend appropriate assistive devices and software
- Provide training and ongoing support for students, staff, and families
- Interpret and uphold legal requirements related to technology and health accommodations
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed records, document interventions, and contribute to progress meetings
- Stay current with innovations in assistive technology and relevant healthcare practices
